Wednesday, 2/6/13: Sanibel, Captiva & Fort Myers Fishing Report ~ Fort Myers, Sanibel & Captiva: Amazing fishing for winter!

Sheepshead caught offshore on Sanibel on Sanibel & Captiva charters!
Sheepshead caught offshore on Sanibel on Sanibel & Captiva charters!

On todays charter, we had a lot of fun!

We first went to Blind Pass, where we caught a bunch of small Snook and a few big Redfish!

After that we went offshore of Sanibel to fish for Sheepshead, Grouper, and Snapper!

The Snapper weren’t biting, but the Grouper and Sheepshead were! After we caught about ten nice sized Grouper and two huge Sheepshead, we decided before we headed in to make a quick stop in Redfish Pass!

At Redfish Pass we were catching Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Ladyfish, and a few Sea Trout!

The fishing has been unbelievable this winter, so come on down, book a charter and have the fishing experience of your dreams!

Join us for a Sanibel & Captiva Islands or Fort Myers fishing guide trip – or we can head up to North Captiva or Cayo Costa Islands for a shelling charter!

We’re located at Castaways Marina, Santiva, Sanibel Island, just before the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.

Whether you’re a longtime customer who has fished with us for many years or a first-time customer, expert fisherman or just a family with young children out to catch fish and have fun, you are going to enjoy being out in the boat with Hank and me!  We greatly appreciate your friendship and business!!!

If you had a good time fishing with Hank and me on a Sanibel & Captiva fishing charter, please post an “excellent” review on Google Places Reviews.  Huge thanks for doing this!

Fair winds and following seas,
